Year Three - Joy — Honey Heart Photography

Today is our Three Year Anniversary. That makes it a really good day. I was looking at last year's anniversary post, and then our one year post before it. It was fun to look back - three years have flown by.

One thing that resonates with me this year is Joy. I was speaking to a friend not long ago, and we were talking about how blessed we are that our spouses make us laugh so darn much. Even when hard things are happening in life, we can have joy and laughter with them. This is invaluable in a relationship. We were made for joy. We were made to laugh. So when you laugh a lot with your partner you are doing something you were always meant to do. When they bring you joy, they are bringing you something that you were meant to have. That's a big deal.

Mary happens to be absolutely hilarious. She has me laughing all the time. We laugh a lot together and I am so blessed by that.

Year Three was a fantastic year full of fun people, beautiful places, and really great moments. So thanks to you all who play a part in our lives and bring the both of us such Joy. We are grateful for you.

Let's be thankful for the Joy in our lives.
