Abby & Courtney - Lexington Wedding Photographer

It could be said that Abby & Courtney are very much like the wedding they put on: Classy, timeless, thoughtful, down-to-earth, beautiful, and very memorable.  From the jewelry, to Abby's hair, to the dress, to the details for the reception - it was all so gorgeous - really a photographer's play land.  Talon Winery was a beautiful backdrop for this sweet day.  But what was really evident was the sincere and almost tangible love the Bride and Groom have for each other. That was the most beautiful part.  It was such a beautiful day that we were so happy to be involved in.  Thanks Abby and Courtney - you all are truly wonderful!

Abby & Courtney's kids, Gabriel and Amelia, are really some of the cutest kids to ever live.

This is one of my favorites.  You are beautiful, Abby!

We love these wedding details!  The kids table was a huge hit.

The Lawsons Went Down to Georgia

Hello!  Gabe here.  From time to time I will be blogging about our goings on and random thoughts throughout the week.  I am looking forward to it! So back in late September we went to visit our friends Elisa and Maria, who reside in the friendly town of Marietta, Georgia.  While we were there only 2 days, it was relaxing and refreshing to see old friends and explore a new town just a bit.  Oh and we also visited the Home of the Braves - Turner Field...which was a blast, needless to say. Below are a few pictures from our time.

This visit was a great reminder that no matter how busy we are in life, it is so vital to maintain relationships with those we love. And when we do we are better for it. It is so easy to get so lost in what we "have" to do and all the distractions of the daily routine. But when we take the time to take a step back and just be with those important people in life we are even stronger to face the challenges that come our way.

Sometimes I like to make funny faces...

Great night at the ball park.  I almost caught a home run ball. Almost.

Sara & Gregg: Lexington Anniversary Photography

Gregg emailed me a few months ago with an idea.  He wanted to recreate his wedding day for his 20th anniversary and completely surprise his wife.  I was automatically on board.  Gregg rented the Bodley Bullock house, had a wedding cake replica baked, and brunch served for an extra special touch.  He told Sara that they were having their pictures taken for their anniversary so she would be prepared.  She was surprised and it was so much fun.  We shot at the BB House first and then wen to Ashland for a few casual pictures.  Thanks so much, Gregg and Sara.   Gregg, you have set the bar high for anniversaries!

Carly & Tony: Lexington Wedding Photography

I am telling you, I have the best brides and grooms.  With each passing wedding season, it seems that just the right people let us shoot their weddings.  Thank you.  We are reaching the finish line for 2011, and it has been the best yet. Carly and Tony had a beautiful day at Fasig Tipton.  With the help of Leann Shields and her crew at Wedding Bliss, the day was perfect!
