Sara & Gregg: Lexington Anniversary Photography

Gregg emailed me a few months ago with an idea.  He wanted to recreate his wedding day for his 20th anniversary and completely surprise his wife.  I was automatically on board.  Gregg rented the Bodley Bullock house, had a wedding cake replica baked, and brunch served for an extra special touch.  He told Sara that they were having their pictures taken for their anniversary so she would be prepared.  She was surprised and it was so much fun.  We shot at the BB House first and then wen to Ashland for a few casual pictures.  Thanks so much, Gregg and Sara.   Gregg, you have set the bar high for anniversaries!

Carly & Tony: Lexington Wedding Photography

I am telling you, I have the best brides and grooms.  With each passing wedding season, it seems that just the right people let us shoot their weddings.  Thank you.  We are reaching the finish line for 2011, and it has been the best yet. Carly and Tony had a beautiful day at Fasig Tipton.  With the help of Leann Shields and her crew at Wedding Bliss, the day was perfect!

Libby & Danny: Lexington Wedding Photography

Libby is a fellow photographer here in town so I was honored when she asked me to shoot her wedding.  Her day was surrounded by dear friends and a ton of homemade details.  Instead of hiring a florist, Libby and her friends made her flowers..out of paper...each one unique.  So cool.  She made her bouquet out of jewelry and it was amazing.  We loved being a part of the day.  Thanks so much, Libby and Danny!

Libby used a lot of her mom's pins in her bouquet and wore her necklace too.

She's a beautiful bride and not even in her gown yet!

I love shooting through the vines at Talon.  Gabe grabbed a shot of me in action.

Boutonnieres made by bride, groom, and company as well!

This is my favorite shot of Libby.

We worked some sunset shots into the day and it was worth it.
