Megan & Keaton: Lexington Wedding Photography
/We have always said that we have some of the most wonderful and amazing people to work with. Megan & Keaton, and their friends, definitely fit the 'wonderful' description. For many of our weddings we hang out with the bride and groom all day, documenting what is going on - and we know that having a camera floating around for 10 hours can be a bit stretching for some people. But both Megan & Keaton, and their wedding party, were incredibly fun, warm, friendly, and welcoming in having us in their 'entourage.' For the entire day. There was a lot of laughing involved. And we appreciate that. What better day than your wedding day to both laugh and cry? It is clear that this couple really is blessed by the other and loves them deeply. And that makes us feel honored to do what we do. Thanks Megan & Keaton - you are beautiful people!

Katie & Eric: Illinois Wedding Photography
/Gabe and I rode up to the land o' Lincoln for this dear friend of the family's wedding. Our moms have been friends for something like twenty years so Katie and I got to know one another as tots. One of my favorite parts of the wedding was seeing my mom and her friends cuttin' a rug on the dance floor! Katie and Eric are a splendid couple and their big day was a long time coming. It was perfect!
I know it's going to be a good day when I can hang a dress from a tree.
I'm a fan of the shot below. Katie and company: I'd say it was worth it. :)

Brittany & Chris: Lexington Wedding Photography
/Get ready for a detail explosion. Brittany's fabulous taste combined with her creativity made for a beautiful southern wedding. I am in love with this wedding's color palette: coral, light blue, and silver. The reception venue (The Bell House) itself matched with its blue walls and ivory decor. Lovely! And then, of course, there is the bride and groom. Brittany and Chris are the sweetest couple. It was an honor to witness their marriage. Even though I see the day through the viewfinder of a camera, I almost always get caught up in the emotion of it all. It's a beautiful thing. And then you get to see what I saw. Enjoy!
Love her veil. She totally pulled it off.
The flowergirl boxes were painted and decorated by Brittany and her wedding entourage.
The adorable little guy above is Chris' son, Kade. Check out the jars below with her old, new, borrowed and blue items. Cute!
Brittany, you are beautiful bride.
Every table had a floral arrangement and a song title. When the DJ played the table's song, the guests had to get up and boogie to it. Great idea to get the party started.
DeRae created a delicious spread with all sorts of fun, southern foods. BBQ sundae, anyone?
Their last name is Jones!

Rebecca & Jonathan: Lexington Wedding Photography
/I look at the these and I just smile. Why? Because Rebbecca's smile is contagious and because they bring back such fond memories of the day. A few of my favorite moments were (these are in addition to the pictures of course): - Jonathan seeing Rebecca for the first time. These two are the perfect match.
- The wedding party walking down the street in the heat for me since we had extra portrait time.
- Working with the lovely ladies of Good Shepherd. They have coordinating down to an art form!
- Seeing old college friends at the reception. Gabe and I went to school with Jonathan.
- Riding the limo to the reception. Limos are so fascinating to me. How do they make those turns?!
- Reception dancing.
Enjoy! Happy Monday!
The picture below begs a couple questions. What's so funny? Why is my mouth so agape? Who is taking the picture?
