Brian and Amy: Engaged
/Brian and Amy are getting married next June and I had a blast with them at their engagement shoot. We shot at a couple places, one of which was Merrick Place, were they met. There we neighbors, just a flight of stairs away, and noticed each other one day. They started hanging out, dating, and now I am shooting their wedding next June. I'm so happy that Gabe and I had an instant connection with them at the bridal show in July! Brian and I talked cameras and photography. Gabe and Amy are fellow red-heads. Perfect combination! Thanks, you guys! I had a great time with you last week. You look fabulous!
I love their style. Future couples: this is a good example of what to wear on your e-shoot.
These shots are at their old apartments, where it all began. Amy, you are beautiful!!!
Kristin and Jacob: September Wedding in Lexington
/Happy Monday! As I'm sitting here, blogging, I am wearing a cardigan. Yay! I love cardigans and jackets. I saw the Old Navy mannequins promoting a sale on TV this past weekend and I went and bought two new ones. Bring on the cold weather! Kristin and Jacob are such a fun couple! These two met while working at Kroger so we snapped a few pictures there on the way to their rehearsal dinner. I loved the colors and all the crazy looks we got from customers. Kristin and I have spent a lot of time together the past year and it has been a pleasure becoming friends with her. Kristin, you and Jacob are the perfect couple. Gabe and I wish nothing but the very best for you! Enjoy your pictures!
Cameron: Class of 2011
/The other day I had a lovely shoot with Cameron and his mom, Jenny. I shot Cameron's senior portraits at Spring Vally Golf Course, here in Lexington. I really enjoyed chatting with him and his mom. It seems like only yesterday (it was almost 10 years ago!) I was having my senior pictures done; equipped with perm, prom dress and guitar. Yes, that's right. I went through a short-lived guitar phase. And yes, that's right. I permed my already curly hair for my senior pictures. Best wishes for your senior year, Cameron!
