What is a Sanzone?!

The other day Gabe commented on Facebook that we were getting ready to have a Sanzone-tastic weekend and someone posed this blog post's title question.  Well, here they are!  The Sanzones!  Eric and Ashleigh are dear old friends and Eric was my youth pastor when I was growing up.  They have since moved away and it is always wonderful to see them when they come to visit Kentucky.  This visit, they stayed with Gabe and me.  We had too much fun, all crammed in our little house.  The weekend was fill of laughter, horsey rides, good conversation, and of course, a photo shoot.  They wanted something KY-esque, so I thought Keeneland would do the trick.  Not only are the Sanzones one of the best families ever but they also resemble Gap models.  Love you all!

Grant and Jack

These boys were wonderful to work with and they are so adorable!  I think the whole family belongs in a JCrew catalog.  Grant (the older boy) and I walked around Keeneland and took pictures while Jack woke up from a nap.  He was so great in front of the camera!  Maybe because I guessed Thomas the Train is one of his favorite toys.  He was surprised I knew the names of Thomas and his friends.  I do indeed, thanks to Nathan and Noah. Thanks so much, Maria!  Enjoy!

The boys got distracted from modeling at one point because they saw a plane.  :)

Firehats and Magees.

This past Sunday I had a wonderful shoot with Jonathan, Christopher, and their lovely parents.  It had been a year since our last shoot and the boys have gotten a million times cuter.  I just love this family.  They are so much fun to work with.  The boys were quite the little posers and Christopher even had a few photo ideas for me.  And instead of saying "cheese" to get the guys to smile, they said "magees," which is a bakery here in town and also the location of the boys' prize doughnut if the shoot went well.  I loved it!  Enjoy the photos, Alyssa!  You all are great! :) This sequence cracks me up!

Chris + Amy: Friends and Entrepreneurs

It has been a crazy blogging week!  Summer must really be in full swing!  Tomorrow begins this crazy four weddings in five days journey that either makes me incredibly crazy or blessed, quite possibly both.  But I am excited!  Each couple is so wonderful and unique and I am privileged to be a part of their big days (shout out to Rachel and Matt, Amy and Ryan, Haley and Jason, Melissa and Chaz).  I have some wonderful assistants lined up, including faithful Nan, a student of mine from yesteryear and a new friend!  Wahoo!

Below are our friends, Chris and Amy.  Chris contacted me about doing some photos for his and Amy's new design business website.  I'll let him unveil their profile pictures on their website in a couple weeks.  But here are few I snapped of them together!  So cute!  Chris is also  "Chris" of the Chris and Gabe Show.  Gabe and I have so much fun recording the podcast with these two!

Their REALLY happy side...
